He has quickly risen through the amateur and professional ranks to become a Super Bantamweight world champion, having attained an impressive 21-0 record. This remarkable record did not come easy, it was earned by defeating nine undefeated boxers and a host of elite challengers. Stephen is the only fighter in history to achieve such a lofty status by beating such an array of elite fighters. He is currently scheduled to fight in a bout in May, in Tokyo, Japan against Japanese former title holder Naoya Inoue. The bout will be the main event in a boxing card that will be televised worldwide on ESPN.
